Declared Finished - September 19,2012

PostSun Sep 16, 2012 4:33 pm

Finally can claim finished (ay least for now). My dreams of a grand church console diminished to a minimal console that does all i need to do. Fits better in the space I have also.

Classic Midi Works:
Pedal Board,
3 - Pro keyboards,
24 - lighted rocker tabs,
Minimal Console Assembly

Midi Boutique - 4 - 2 line, 16 character lcd's

R.A. Colby - Music rack

Ektralamp - Music light and pedal light

Edited to include speaker cabinet;
The bottom part has two subs and the top part has four speakers (two stereo channels) These speakers are turned on with the console. In the middle is small computer speakers and the E-MU 1616m PCIe. They are on any time the computer is on. The computer serves as my everyday computer as well as Hauptwerk.

Hello Ollie,

Wow! It's beautiful. I love the layout and especially the music rack and lamp. Your LCDs look nice. I'm in the process of adding 4 to my console.

What sample set/s are you using?

Congratulations,

David and George,
Thanks for the kind words. I just realized that what is not shown is the speaker cabinet containg two subs and two set of stereo speakers. I will see is i can edit the post to show the speaker cabinet also

I have the E.M. Skinner from MDA, the Silver Octopus Willis Studio 80, and I recently became interest in theater organ and bought the Paramount 332 and have upgraded to the Paramount 450.

Ollie,

I'm almost ready to take the plunge for the 450.

Put the speaker pics in another post...easier.

George (G3)

P.S. I noticed you, David and I are all fairly closeto each other.

George and Ollie,

We are relatively close, in case George is suggesting a meet-up. I have different sample sets from Ollie, including Dom Bedos, Caen, Hereford, Trost, Arlesheim and Freiberg, in case either of you are interested in trying them out. I am curious about Ollie's sample sets. My Midi interface just died, so I need a week to replace that and be up again, if all the spirits in cyberspace are aligned.

Hi David,

That would be fun sometime for us to visit. Probably next spring as I am recovering from spine surgery. I'm doing very well, was back on the bench to play for mass last Sunday. I have the PAB Pro, Les' Schantz, Jensen 335 and Paramount 332, soon to become the 440. In my hobby/spare time I really enjoy theatre organ.

George and David,
I would love to arrange visits. I am a mediocre piano player that has turned organ player the last few years. I would be fantastic to hear someone play that really is an organist. Bring music, because I don't have much. I plan to start lessons very soon when I find an instructor. Maybe the local County College. Anytime would be good. Spring would be great.

Sweet! Building a project is one thing, constructing an extension of your soul is quite another. Congratulations on both parts.
