That is lovely. I admire anyone who can handle wood like that. I most definitely can not. :D

It occurs to me that it would have been kind of cool to use a bass clef on the left side.

Bob, please don't mind my being just a tad envious of your absolutely beautiful work!

I keep checking back to see if any additional progress has been made on this beautiful console.

It is so nice, I keep looking at my 1928 Wurlitzer console and wondering if I could detach myself from it to replicate what you created. I think the Wurlitzer pipes would revolt but they would get over it.

Again, absolutely beautiful.

Wurlitzer 28,

I keep checking back to see if any additional progress has been made on this beautiful console.

Actually, the console was "finished" a couple of months ago.

I love the console and I love the fact that you have a nice speaker setup and actually have the room to get them away from the console a few feet. (Mine are in my face--don't really have a choice about it at the moment--and I don't care for it...)

My question to you is: are you happy with your speakers? I recently invested in some more expensive models by another manufacturer and am underwhelmed and now of the persuasion that I might be much more satisfied if I just invest in more medium-budget speakers such as these m-audios and have more channels. I have the option of doing 8 out (10 if I use a second DAC) and I could afford at least 4 of these for what I paid for a pair of the others.
