My Allen rebuild, 2nd incarnation

Two years ago, after much useful advice from this forum, I was able to convert my defunct Allen ADC-1000 to MIDI. This summer I got around to the next step, replacing the worn out Allen keyboards with three new Fatars. The result looks like this:

For those interested, I've made a gallery of images from the rebuilding process, with some captions explaining what I did.

Stage three will include adding some Dayton pucks underneath the bench, a second Launchpad, some thumb and foot pistons, perhaps something to cover up the visible holes ... if I ever get that far ... the present state of affairs is quite satisfying :)

What appeals to me most about this re-build is how compact everything is. This console is compact enough to fit in any space. I would add two more balanced swell pedals and some toe pistons.
