What do you think about this? Alternative for PC + touchscreen, etc.
This is the easiest way to convert digital organ or keyboard in VPO.

So what's inside?
- 38 wooden magnetic stop tablets with 3mm LED's
- 16 wooden magnetic round pistons (Setzer)
- 4 wooden magnetic round pistons for using Hauptwerk functions
- 3 wooden magnetic round pistons for transposer
- monochromatic LCD (2x16)
- Stereo output (Mackie)
- Headphones output
- MIDI in socket
- Intel i5/i7, 16/24/32/64 GB ram, 0,5-1TB HDD
- USB 3.0 (6x)
- USB 2.0 (2x) - mouse, keyboard?
- VGA (LCD)

Interesting! Has it a fixed disposition, and if so, which sample sets are used?

Wow that is really amazing; what a smart idea.
I suspect, based on the removable stop labels, that the module can be customized to different sample sets?
Very ingenious; I suspect you have a real winning product on your hands!
Speaking of which - how much does it cost (if it's not rude to ask so publicly??)?

All the best,
Walter

I don't care for its physical appearance at all. Read between the lines.

It is 100% Hauptwerk integrated, stand alone, portable sound module. So - as in "regular" Hauptwerk - you can install any sample set. Stop names are printed on paper strips.
This version has 38 stops, designed for two manual consoles. Work as good with single keyboard. :)

About costs - the price is similar to the price of full Hauptwerk set (software, PC, touchscreen, etc.)

Nice product¡

But do the user need a computer screen to visualize Hauptwerk commands and functions, i.e. view, master couplers, etc. ? Or everything can be seen in the little front screen?

Thanks,
Luis

You have 64 MIDI switches overall. You can program whatever you want. Stops, couplers, or even "turn computer off".

For now you have to connect LCD to detect your keyboards.... I hope in the future this function will be also controlled via MIDI. But it's up to Brett and Martin :)

You might want to consider adding a window for a case-fan (or two) as currently the only cooling you have is via the PSU and you're going to get a lot of heat generated in there.

Good point :) There are holes on the bottom of the box, but no fan... I haven't noticed overheating during testing...
Front is definitely "leaking" too :) (even though you can not see)
