Very well done, both on the web site as well a the instruments and components you offer. My wish - why can't we have a H/W dealer such as yourself in the USA?

Not to get on a "soap box" here, but some experiences I've had lately, when talking to some would be organ purchasers, is that Hauptwerk (organs) are in the "hobbyist" category possibly due to the fact there are no commercial H/W enterprises - here. All well and good that there are used console conversions etc, as well done as they are, looking at the above web site puts H/W in a completely different prospective. These "shoppers" want to be able to 'kick the tires' so to speak. and some have quite a budget - said in a positive way.

Brett (and others) have done a great job with the H/W web site, but after viewing such, some of the would-be's ask, "Where can I buy a complete, ready to play, brand new H/W organ - in the USA"? The answer is - - - -.

Hi Ed,

There are several companies offering complete Hauptwerk organs and at least one very professional organ builder who does Hauptwerk for churches and hybrids. I think in the near future you will see several impressive large venue church installations based on the Hauptwerk software.

There are several Hauptwerk installations in the DFW area and at least four of them are available to interested organists. Please refer those who claim not to be able to find a Hauptwerk organ builder to us and we will find them someone who can help (probably us).

I actually know of a few companies as well, but I was speaking from the viewpoint of these companies are few and hard to find by the "shoppers" as compared to other, more well known, commercial organ companies.

Ed,

I very much want to reply to your postings but I feel we are hijacking the thread so I will remain silent.

mrkniz, I have no problem with trading with the USA. If you are really interested in anything that we can send anything you want into the U.S., China, Japan ...

Website work the first day. Soon you will be able to find many more components for Hauptwerk. We just finish work on our own draw-knobs. They will be the cheapest in the world. We only test their reliability.
We plan to introduce in the coming months a lot of new products and solutions. For example, "easy-on" in the stand-alone version.
