Oh!! And I had just come on with the intention of sending you that email. I tried yesterday an couldn't get it to work!!

Still, I guess this means that the next build is not that far off. Anyway
I can be patient, I have already had the Launchpad nearly two months and have not got near it yet!!

As a newbie I'd like to clarify for other newbies that the Launchpad works just fine with HW 4.0.0 except for lighting functions. I'd looked at the LP as a cheaper and smaller alternative to touchscreens and decided to buy one despite reading the above posts about no beta versions any more. It works just fine for piston and stop controls. The HW pistons are momentary contact so just need to be detected from the LP buttons as any MIDI item would. But stop taps are not momentary so in the Autodetect window, select the box on the left for "Toggle state of virtual stop" before clicking "Done". This will let the virtual stop stay on when the LP button is pressed then off when the LP button is pressed again.
Any idea when the new HW version will be available?
