From a company based in the UK
LNDR is a master and slave pair that allows MIDI to be sent accurately in both
directions
at the same time, across distances of
over 500 metres (1640 feet) using a standard CAT5 cable. This is over 33 times the distance achievable
using standard MIDI cables. The Master unit is mains powered using the i
ncluded PSU.
http://www.kentonuk.com/products/items/utilities/lndr.shtmlThe manual:
http://www.kentonuk.com/kmanualspdf/lndr.pdfSeems to be a lot to like here esp if itr works as stated.
Bi-directional MIDI, Hmmm and a max of 1600 ft apart.
A MIDI signal applied to the MIDI IN of the master will appear at the MIDI
out of the slave. Similarly a MIDI signal applied to the MIDI IN of the slave
will appear at the MIDI out of the master. You can send signals in both
directions at the same time.
