Bome MIDI Translator

PostTue May 19, 2020 10:52 am

Hi,
I’m trying a simple keystroke to midi sample.
Press a computer keyboard to play a note.
Key down, note on. Key up, note off.
This is not the ultimate goal, just testing.

Midi-Ox sees the action exactly the same as when I actually play the note.
But HW doesn’t play the note generated from the computer keyboard.
Must have something to do with port mapping.

Any ideas?

Hello Steve,

In case it's relevant, the operating system will only send computer key-strokes to whichever application currently has the input focus (i.e. is the 'foreground' application).
Best regards, Martin.
