Roland Octa-Capture

HELP! Is anyone familiar with this interface, and can offer any advice?
It's a new one on me. I had never heard of it until a couple of weeks ago, and a customer wanted it.

Problem: I cannot get the driver to install. I'm doing everything exactly as per the Owner's Manual:
Start Setup from the supplied driver CD; connect mains power and USB cable; power up the interface.
According to the book, the driver should install automatically. "It can take several minutes for the driver installation to complete", and should indicate when "installation has been completed". Well, I waited an hour, and nothing happened.
The driver program appeared almost immediately in Control Panel > Programs & Features, but without a version number. I tried loading HW, but the interface was not recognised; so, clearly, the driver installation wasn't completed.
The supplied driver is the same as the latest Win 10 driver listed on the Roland website (v.1.5.2 for Windows 10).
This is a brand-new PC with Windows 10, quad-core AMD Ryzen 3 and 64GB of RAM.
I already tried this driver installation on a similar brand-new PC last week with 32GB, with exactly the same result.
(Had to switch to a 64GB PC because the customer discovered Billerbeck, and wanted it.)

The PC + interface is due for collection next week, and I'm tearing my hair.
Any suggestions??

François, I just solved the problem, and the solution was much simpler than we expected.
As I said previously, I did everything exactly as per the Roland User Manual.
Nowhere in the installation instructions was anything said about having an internet connection (and this PC was not connected).
But the Roland ZenDesk troubleshooting page says:
3."Be sure that the computer has a stable internet connection."

So I connected the PC to the Internet, repeated the installation procedure, and it was finished in seconds.
