Sysexe not available for input 2

I note in HW VI that when asigning switches to scoped items that there is a subtle difference between input 1 and input 2
Asigning a sysexe message can be set in input 1 but this option is strangely missing from the drop down in input 2. Is there a reason for this?

As a major issue, this is not since I can map the associations the other way round but there doesn't seem to be any real reason for the option to be missing in input 2

Hello Dave,

It was simply because also including it on the 'Input 2' tab would have added some additional overheads and complexity. Since MIDI stops/switches/buttons/pistons that use sys-ex MIDI implementations are quite rare, it wasn't felt to be justified.

As ever thank for the quick response. I understand what you say, though pity I must be one of the few that would use it. Still as I said before I can reverse my mappings to get round it in this case.
