Paramount 450 piston "thunk"

PostSun Mar 25, 2018 5:01 pm

All...

I've looked around the forum but didn't see anything.... also looked in the HW manual and the online screens for the Paramount 450 but cannot locate a volume control for the piston thunk sound when selecting a piston. It's a bit loud and just want to turn its volume down some.

Thanks for the help.

Try looking in Organ / Load Organ, adjusting rank audio... for stop action noise "ranks". Don't load the ranks if you want to turn them off. Or turn their levels down using Organ Settings / Pipe and rank voicings.

See Hauptwerk user guide 4.2.1 pages 172 and 176.

[Topic moved here.]

To add to nmailor's reply, you could alternatively turn down the amplitude of those noise 'ranks' down via the voicing screen (Organ settings | Pipe and rank voicing').
