keyboard shorcuts work once only

PostSat Sep 01, 2018 3:48 am

Hello friends

I assigned some keys of my computer keyboard for recording while I'm playing.
1 = rec on
2 = stop
3= play (midi)
0 = erase
And I've checked the two boxes : arm audio recording + arm midi recording

Then; I beguin the recording session by pressing on 1...
After pressing once on stop then on play, all my keyboard shorcuts are gone,
none of them are working anymore !
After unloading and re-loading the organ, they work again.
So this method works, but only once. :cry:
Any idea for this issue ?
Thanks in advance.

This tutorial for AutoHotKey might give you some ideas.

I tried setting the computer keyboard key 1 to start recording (as armed) and 2 to stop recording - I did this using autodetect from the controls on the recorder large control panel.

The 1 key started the recording and the 2 key stopped the recording and left the file in my recordings output folder. The functions worked repeatedly (multiple times without having to reload the organ).

I wonder if this might possibly be related to the sample set being used (but would be a little surprised if it did). I was using the Sonus Paradisi A-S Oakland organ.

To be clear - this was just using the native Hauptwerk support for assigning functions to the computer keyboard.

Good luck!

Check if Hauptwerk is somehow losing the focus for the input devices. For example, a mouse click outside the Hauptwerk window would presumably cause the shortcuts to stop working.

Thank you friends for those replies.

I tried your advices (even had a look at "autohotkey) ... but the problem was elsewhere !

I didn't realise that when you read what you've just recorded,
at the end of the reading, you've got to press the stop bouton ! :oops:
There is not auto-stop , so till this button is not pressed, all the other shortcuts don't work !

Everythinks is ok now ! :mrgreen:
