Hauptwerk licensing package

PostSun Dec 15, 2019 4:14 pm

When I try to download the Hauptwerk licensing package, I don't get a file but a bunch of weird characters on the screen. What do I do with that?

Hello Jmoboe,

Depending on your browser settings you may need to right-click on "Licence package" button and select from the context menu "Save link as...". This will open your Explorer and you will be able to select the folder where you want to save the file.

Best regards

Hello François,

I tried your suggestion but Edge wanted to save the .html file. I tried Chrome instead and it worked.

Same with me. MS Edge yielded the binary garbage on the screen and wouldn't download. Chrome worked OK.
I also was one of those who earlier missed the need to download the licencing file into Hauptwerk. I really expected installing Hauptwerk V was all that was needed, insofar as an operating system was concerned.

Salut Jean-Marc,

I tried to download with Edge and had no problem. It is has if Edge is not detecting the Mime type of the file; so it is not a problem with Edge (for everyone).

You may have some setting causing that behaviour. As Keith said, Chrome worked for him (had similar problem with Edge). So you may want to download chrome (https://www.google.com/chrome/) for your download.

Meilleures salutations
