Trial activation won't work

Trial activation won't work

I have installed Hauptwerk V, opened an iLok account, and sent the request for a trial. If I click on licenses, the iLok now shows a status of the Hauptwerk Advanced Edition license (1) with a 14 day expiration period, and 0 activations. If I click on locations, it shows 1 location and 0 licenses.

When I load Hauptwerk and click on "try", it gives me an activation error and says that I have made too many attempts to use the trial version and need to purchase a license.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello Ray,

What you're seeing is the license when you click "on your name" (left column). So you see that you have 1 license unused. Now you need to drag and drop it on your "Cloud" (left column)... and activation will now show 1 of 1.

Now Hauptwerk (and you) should be happy. :D

Thanks Francois. After posting I discovered that next to the checkmark showing available licenses I needed to put the cursor over "activate" and click. It's working now.
