iLok code not accepting letters

PostSun Jun 28, 2020 9:56 pm

I am trying to enter an iLok code for a new sample set, but only the numbers are being accepted into the data fields.

Has anyone else come across this problem, and if so how did you resolve it?

Don't think it should matter, but do you have the caps lock on?

Andrew, do you have the right code? I have not yet seen a iLok license code containing letters.

If an iLok code doesn't contain letters then I must have the wrong code. Thanks - I'll check with the sample set supplier.

Hello Andrew,

iLOK code is a 30-digit code, no letter (at least all the code I've seen so far for Hauptwerk and sample sets)

Check with the sample set manufacturer.

Thanks folks. The mystery is now solved. The licence code in question was specific to this particular producer for identifying sample sets sold to each customer. It wasn’t an iLok code after all.
