How to reset the MIDI implementation?

PostSun Aug 16, 2020 4:50 am

Hello,

I am installing a new sample set that I have already voiced on another Hauptwerk console. So I recovered the appropriate file containing all this data. Unfortunately, this file also contains all the MIDI connections of the other console and this causes malfunctions. For example, when I press a combination piston, the expressive box no longer works, or an unwanted function appears. For this reason, I would like to know if it is possible to reset the MIDI implementation of a sample set, without losing the voicing. Thank you in advance.

Cordially,
Luc

Hello Luc,

Yes -- you can reset an organ's MIDI settings via 'Organ settings | Organ configuration wizard'.
Best regards, Martin.

Many thanks, Martin. So far, I have never used this feature, but this is my chance to experience it.
Kind regards,
