Also, I wonder if something in the link that we got in the purchase confirmation message confused both Firefox and Free Download Manager, and Edge, because the shorter direct link worked the first try.

I remember back in the old days, an unprintable escape character in a line of text could cause all sorts of problems when printed. (We all had to learn how to do it, of course. It was fun while it lasted.)

Thanks for the update, and glad to hear it's downloaded and installed successfully now.

Finally made it despite download and installation problems. Thanks to Francois a final problem with activation was solved. I needed to disable HW V in iLok myself as a separate action. I made an assumption that the process to install HW 6 would do that for me. Nevertheless I now have my organs back up and running.

It's the joy of being an early adopter, Keith. The good part is we (including Hauptwerk peoples) make it easier for those that follow.

Even better I am now really up to date HW 6.01 installed successfully. I've had my two or three days of technical problems to be solved, now I can go back to being just a home organist, at least playing for my own pleasure.
