HW License Migration Web Page

PostTue Dec 08, 2020 1:00 pm

I am logged into my HW online account. I click on the 'Hauptwerk License Migration' button at 'https://www.hauptwerk.com/prevvilicensemigrations/'. I get a new window containing only the words
'Please ensure you are logged into your account.'

I <AM> logged into my account. How do I proceed with license migration?

HW6 has been installed, iLok updated with activation code. Mac OSX 14.6, 64G RAM, yada-yada...

Help please. Thank you,

Greg

Good afternoon,

You must log into Hauptwerk.com account then purchase the license migration package - https://www.hauptwerk.com/hauptwerk-v-license-migration/. Once your order completed, keep your browser open then go to https://www.hauptwerk.com/prevvilicensemigrations/, press the 'Hauptwerk License migration' button.

You should be able to complete the form now and upload your file to migrate your licenses to iLOK.
Best regards

Thank you so much for this valuable information!

Why this information did not appear in any documention, email or webpage related to upgrading to Hauptwerk VI is beyond my understanding. I hope MDyde and company will consider improving the quality of their documentation.

Cheers,
