Czech historical organ - new sample set

PostFri Mar 04, 2016 12:20 pm

I have released a minor organ model today. HRADEC KRALOVE - MARIA CHURCH organ built in 1765 by Joseph Streussel is a typical Czech baroque organ, similar to other Sonus Paradisi models (Zlata Koruna, Rabstejn, Kdousov ...)

This model is released for free download, the full version is to be downloaded directy from the web presentation of the sample set free of charge. Then, after installing and playing the sample set, if the user likes the virtual organ model, he can make his contribution by paying the required amount.

The idea behind these models is to promote Czech historical instruments in the world. Publishing of music recordings made with these small models on Youtube and similar websites is welcome!

I'm experiencing volume dropouts after installing the organ and running it in 24 bits. Is this caused by changing the tuning/temperament?
The organ sounds like it's in equal temperament and another historical one would be more appropriate, I believe. And prefer.

Volume dropouts: maybe the windmodel. I was experimenting with more drastic settings for this sample set. Especially in tutti-like registrations, there will be volume dropouts. You can experiment with wind model settings in the Organ Settings menu.

Temperament: thanks to Hauptwerk, you can select any temperament chart in the Hauptwerk Temperament menu. Go on and choose the temperament to your liking.

Here it is.

https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/downloadable/download/sample/sample_id/15/

You find it on the Hrade Kralove, Maria church page, click the tab "Order", and then click on the title line:

Hradec Kralove Wet Software Organ Model

All the best.
