FCCLA Schlicker released, FCCLA combined instrument complete

PostSun Jun 05, 2016 8:49 am

We've released the final instrument in the FCCLA set. The Gallery Schlicker is 134 ranks on 4 manuals and pedal. Released along with this is a demo incorporating all the demos of all of the instruments, along with a combined ODF of all the instruments called "The Great Organs" available to users who have licensed all three instruments. Details can be found at

Huge thanks to FCCLA and Christoph Bull for making this possible, as well to Les Deutsch, Phil Riddick and Stan Harris for their help in the development process.

Hello,

I'm interested in looking at the Skinner chancel demo for starters. I see when you click on the download link there are 8 separate files for this demo. This arrangement is a bit different than what I'm used to seeing. I'm assuming I need to download all 8 files? How about when it comes to installing? Could you provide a few details?

Thanks,

Marc

The files are numbered in order of installation. It was done this way in order to make the files less than 2GB. Some browsers and operating systems have problems with files over 2GB.

In the DEMO section https://server.fieber.nl/FolderLink/58fab6b5-2343-e796-c43b-dbf1e58fb7f0/false#/vaults/vault-files/nmsa125659/%2Fpersonal%2FFCCLA_Release%2FDEMO%2F/null/null/lihh0232be0rlbej42ssd06mh7/false, there are only 4 files. Each is independent, however in order to demo the full combined instrument, all will need to be loaded. The first is the skinner, the second the chancel extensions, the third the Schlicker, and the fourth the combined ODF.

Yes, there are recordings of the instruments. If you poke into each of the instruments in the menu on the right, they have sample recordings. For the Schlicker, they are at http://www.clrresources.com/fccla-the-great-organs/fccla-schlicker/sample-recordings/. Skinner recordings are athttp://www.clrresources.com/fccla-the-great-organs/fccla-skinner/sample-recordings/

Another question...... Are these sample sets all dry?

They call the samples semi-dry.

The DEMO sets are pretty extensive, and give you a good feel for the sample set. Download them and try them out. The Schlicker is less dry than the Chancel organs for a number of reasons.

Are the samples enhanced with added reverb or not?
