This organ will be released next week.

A piece recorded on it:

Wow, sounds really nice! I've read a few comments already about it being a bit dry, I think it's just about perfect and represents that classic Skinner sound you're going to encounter in most any place housing one here in the U.S. Nice clean sound with lots of clarity and detail. Ought to be a great practice instrument and overall a pleasure to play. Put me down for one, looking forward to getting it!

Carson, a few more recordings perhaps? Would love to hear the strings and some of the other softer stops.

Yes, I have a number of quiet pieces recorded, and I will post some more in the coming days.

Indeed, the room is relatively dry, but as you say, that is where the vast majority of Aeolian-Skinners are: in "American dry rooms."

Thanks, Carson. Once again, very nice. I have to admit this type of acoustic has really grown on me as of late after recently hearing this >>> viewtopic.php?f=1&t=15687 which sounds just about identical in all aspects.

It will sound awesome in my small 12' x 12' space AND it looks as though Jiri has done yet another fantastic job!

I've been waiting for a recording of this new sample set to be uploaded. Thank you!! It sounds wonderful. I'm one of the few to prefer a dryer set.

Will a "dry" version be released?

Given the acoustic, one could use the direct samples (this will be 6-channel release, like all recent SP offerings: direct, diffuse, and rear), with or without truncation to get the equivalent of a dry sample set.

I'm like a kid the night before Christmas waiting for good old St. Nick to show up and leave that long awaited present under the tree!

As long as the "tree" is indoors as our wind chill temp outside right now is minus 15.

Then there's the old "advice" about the watched pot doesn't boil or something to that effect.

Haha, yes the tree is indoors, in fact the good wife and I just dragged it in last night, but no decorations yet, so maybe St. Nick is waiting on us to finish that before he stops by.

AND, yes warm tonight only -4 F for the low but -12 F tomorrow night, and oh boy talk about cold, -20's for actual air temps (not windchill) for this coming weekend here in good old 'Minne-snowta.'

Let's hope Santa's sleigh starts.

Good time to do inside work as on Hauptwerk projects Speaking of incentives for things to be done, it's amazing how fast our dog (Mackie) can do her "business" outside in this "climate". She is pictured as my avatar, over there to the right, so very insignificantly, she is part of the H/W situation and she does like organ music. 8)
