Hauptwerk Virtual Pipe Organ

I am proud to announce my first sample set: The Eisenbarth-organ in the Saint Peter and Paul's church in Waldkirchen, Germany. This organ with 62 Stops on four manuals and pedal was built 2007 with many revoiced pipes from the decessor instruments. It consists of the main organ (III/51) and the choir organ (I/11), playable from the 4th manual of the main organ.
The specification of this organ was developed by the organist of Saint Peter and Paul, Max Poeschl, and the cathedral organist in Passau, Ludwig Ruckdeschel.
The organ in Waldkirchen contains a huge amount of colourful foundation stops and delightful reeds (e.g. a full reed chorus in the swell division). Although the concept is very versatile, the organ is especially suited for the french romantic and modern music.

This is five separate organs (albeit playable from one console), and the main organ has 123 registers.
Liverpool Anglican Cathedral has five manuals and 152 registers.

Although the system in Passau consists of 5 separate organs, it is well-known as the ONE cathedral organ, nevertheless.

I think it's in Colorado, there is a grove of trees, who all share the same roots; that is, their roots are all inter-grown and inter-connected, and thus forms the largest living organism in the world. Is it one tree, or many trees?

Can a choir organ and main organ, playable from the same console, be considered as ONE organ?

As soon as you try to capture things in a definition, the world becomes very strange...

An organ is a few hundreds or thousands of instruments under the hands of a single player.

Or... under the hands of the conductor, fifty players in an orchestra become a single instrument.

Congratulations! I've been following your progress for a while now. I haven't had a chance to try the demo yet as I've been so busy, but I look forward to it.

I have now automated the ordering process and you will be redirected to the download page. So you don't have to wait for the e-mail with the download link. Except when you live outside EU, you have to read the ordering instructions first.

I have updated the website again, so non-EU customers have a separate button to order the sampleset.

I am proud to release the WaldkirchenV2-Sampleset, which now sounds much more realistic and spatial. The voicing has also been adapted to the changed conditions and now allows a wide variety of colourful registrations.
