Personally I'm quite partial to the Orchestral Oboe of the Doesburg.

You probably mean 19th/20th oboes?

The Hautbois goes back to the 17th century (see wikipedia)(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oboe#Classical), and beautiful examples can be found in baroque organs as is well known.
