I'm looking forward to this sampleset!
Can you tell how musch pistons are required on each manual?
I'm builing/finishing my console and would be nice if this organ fits.

Many thanks for your question. There are 8 divisional pistons on each division, each with 8 levels of memory, and 8 General pistons with 128 levels of memory accessible via the registration sequencer. I have posted some further updates on my website showing an image of the real console, and the main virtual console layout showing the piston layouts.

https://www.audioangelorum.com/DBPage.asp?PageNumber=100023
https://www.audioangelorum.com

The registration sequencer and divisional memories are faithfully reproduced in the organ definition to allow the virtual console to function as per the real console.

Many thanks for your clear answer!
It will fit!
By the way, I would prefer a surround version. It is not hard to let it sound well with roomcorrection software and Reaper.
Keep up the good work, I'm already enthousiastic!

May i suggest to add a simple jamb, like SP provides with his samplesets.
It's so much easier to use.

I strongly agree with Jan Loosman that a simple stop jamb, as provided by SP, would be most helpful. On a large instrument like this the stop controls on a graphically reconstituted console are far too small to see easily or to manipulate. The SP simple jamb for organs like the large Rotterdam or Caen, by comparison, are easy to see and manipulate, even with all the stops on one screen.

It does cost but for these large organs two monitors in portrait mode make it a pleasure to manage and duplicate the actual consoles as much as possible.

You're right, but even then is a simple jamb(s) much easier to read. (For as my eyes are getting older too ;)

I’m 79. My eyes are are not great. I can read the stops since on my monitors they are about the size of real stop knobs.

I'm having problems connecting to the audioangelorum website - keep getting 500 Internal Server Error. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Some of their website can still be accessed (https://www.audioangelorum.com/Pipewatch.htm for example) but others can't - including their home page and their "contact us" page.

Let's hope they fix it soon!

Many thanks for pointing this out. It appears to be a temporary glitch at our hosting company. It’s working fine again at the moment, and I will continue to monitor it. You will I’m sure be pleased to hear that the organ is progressing well. I have now finalised all the audio samples, and have some fine tuning to do on the organ Definition, and some further testing to do. I will post further updates soon.

Yes, we are still working on it, and it’s going very well! I plan to do some updates to my website in the next few days with further details, but it won’t be too long now. If you haven’t already done so, please feel free to listen to some of Agnus_dei’s excellent recordings of various Beta iterations of the instrument on the Contre bombarde concert hall to get a flavour of what’s in store.
