St Anne's Moseley Organ - Interesting

PostWed Mar 14, 2018 2:39 pm

Just read here: http://www.lavenderaudio.co.uk/organs/armley/history.html that Edmund Schulze (Armley Schulze recent sample set) had a part in the St Anne's Moseley organ.

Two wealthy sisters from nearby Harrogate snapped up the instrument and presented it on loan to their newly completed local church of St Peter. The move was carried out by Edmund Schulze and Charles Brindley (now as part of Brindley and Foster, who were to build the St Anne's Moseley organ

Sometimes a small world.

Hello Ed,

Yes -- I believe a few of the St. Anne's Pedal pipes were originally made by Schulze.
Best regards, Martin.
