Maybe a Fresh Re-Install would help.

Hi all,

There is nothing wrong with the sampleset and/or with the installation of it. The wind behavior of a set like Freiberg and also Rotterdam Main organ is to be set "lively" as the maker wants it to behave like this. Jiri Zurek wrote about it, see under FEATURES and the text WIND MODEL:
http://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/n ... organ.html
So, if you do dislike the default-setting of the sampesetmaker you easily could turn the wind model feature of Hauptwerk off.

Hope it helps.

Those remarks were specifically written about Rotterdam main, not other SP sets. Freiberg should be a reasonable model of the wind system on the organ.

Well, yes this text is specifically part of the Information and features webtext of Rotterdam Main organ but the underlying issue you described (windsack playing heavy chords on full plenum) does affect several samplesets of at least Sonus Paradisi, like also Zwolle, Menesterol and perhaps others.
The behaviour of the sound of a sampleset at this point, like f.e. Freiberg, has nothing to do with the original instrument and sound. It has all to do with modelling the sampleset itself by using the specific windmodel feature within Hauptwerk.

To set up a windmodel for a sampleset that sounds and comes closely to the instrument itself seems to be a huge challange. This has been discussed in other threads as well.

I think you're right. I'm going to leave wind model enabled except for pieces where the wind sag gets unbearable, then temporarily disable it for those. Like the wind stabilizer cutout switch on Rosales...
