Salisbury Willis - remove stop noises?

PostTue Jan 01, 2019 9:02 am

Is it possible to suppress "Percussive Engaging Sound Effects" (the audible thump when stops/couplers are engaged) in the Salisbury Willis set?

Also, are there any options for viewing a simplified stop display (Like the simplified display tab on SP's Freiburg Silbermann)? I have difficulty reading the small stop names on Salisbury Willis.

(I'm currently reading the CODM manual, but I'm afraid that creating custom CODMs may be beyond my technical abilities.)

You could not load the noise rank or ranks, using the "Organ | Load organ, adjusting rank audio/memory options routing" dropdown menu.

Please see page 73 of the user guide.

If you have Hauptwerk Advanced, you can reduce rank volume levels as an alternative.

I can't read the stop labels either, so I don't play Salisbury much...

I don't assign the "noises" to an output channel, so they are totally muted. I have all my sets configured this way.

Of course that is done during the initial loading of the sample set.
