Basic Hauptwerk organ possibilities

PostFri Jan 18, 2019 9:49 am

I have the basic program so am interested in sample sets that I can use. From time to time temptation comes to upgrade, but so far I resist! My Christmas gift to myself this year was the Hereford 23 stop from Lavender. That's as much Hereford as I can handle but it is a most enjoyable sound. The swell trumpet (which you can hear on the free sample) is my favorite. The possible ensemble sounds are enhanced by the multitude of couplers (21). A neat feature is that the great trumpet can be played from the Choir and the volume is adjustable, very handy for a solo stop. My largest organ is the Haverhill, and I also enjoy the St. Eucaire from Milan. I'd be interested to hear other recommendations from those who like myself use the basic resources.

I also have the St. Georgenkirche from Milan, which works very well on the basic.
