I'm confused maybe due to a translation? It mentioned a sample set was added in 2014. Does that mean a sample set as we know it was added to a real pipe organ?

Ed,

In 2014 there was a project to add a 4th manual, but wasn't realized as of today because of lack of $$$. In the sample set (virtual organ) created by Sygsoft they virtually created the 4th division using various samples to match as close as possible the proposed disposition.

In the table, all blue stops are Hauptwerk extensions available in the sample set, not the real organ...

... at least that' my understanding

Very understandable, just didn't want to jump to that conclusion. So the real organ doesn't have this 4 th manual, still a dresm since 2014? Or was it added using Hauptwerk samples?

Adding Hauptwerk to real pipes (in the real world) is very doable as long as possible temperature variations are considered.

Currently there is no 4th manual, not with pipes nor digital. The proposed swell was 11 stops large with an extended compass, both the bass as the treble would have an extra octave of pipes.

Our (J.L. van den Heuvel Orgelbouw) proposal was:

Double walled swellbox in Van den Heuvel construction. Shutters 5.5cm thick. 18 shutters of 22cm wide. Box dimensions: (hxbxd) app. 2.9m x 4.7m x 1m.

CC-f4 (78 notes, organ compass is C-f3 54 notes)
Bourdon 8' 78 pipes
Dwarsfluit 8' 54 pipes, CC-B from Bourdon 8', harmonic from f1
Gamba 8' 66 pipes, CC-BB from Bourdon 8'
Voix Céleste 8' 54 pipes, from c0
Openfluit 4' 66 pipes CC-BB from Bourdon 8', harmonic from c1
Salicionaal 4' 66 pipes, CC-BB from Gamba 8'
Vioolmixtuur II-IV (dulciana scaling)
Tuba 8' 78 pipes (english shallots)
Hobo 8' 78 pipes (cavaille-coll scaling)
Clarinet 8' 54 pipes (cavaille-coll scaling or as free reed)
Vox Humana 8' 54 pipes (cavaille-coll scaling)
Tremulant

This floating (!) swell division would have slider chests with electric action. The original mechanical action will be left as is.
Couplers to the manuals and pedal at 16', 8' and 4'. The division would have had its own windsupply.
