OrganArt Media is pleased to announce today the release of the brand new Riepp Heiliggeist organ in the surround version.

Riepp Organ Specification

The smaller Heilig-Geist organ from 1766 and the large Dreifaltigkeitsorgel are the only fully preserved instruments built by Karl Joseph Riepp.
The Rococo Holy Ghost organ is more south German in style, while the large Holy Trinity organ has a more typically French character.
The instrument is characterized above all by a warm, "poetic" sound character with charming flutes, a milder plenum and expressive tremulants. It is not just a subset of the larger Riepp, but has its own character.

Numerous sound examples can already be found on ConcertHall (search "Heiliggeist")

The 4-channel virtual Riepp organ with variable room acoustics/surround (VAR) contains switchable extended keyboard compasses (manuals C-f3, pedal C-f1), so that music can also be played that goes beyond the original range.
The instrument has been completely redesigned and processed (complete new screens matching the sister instrument, complete new Front samples) supporting 16:9 landscape format (Console, Stops, Left, Right, Control page), 4:3 landscape format (Stops, Left, Right) and 16:9 portrait format (Left, Right), in which an almost exact reproduction of the original registers can be achieved with correspondingly large monitors.

Other special features:
- Possibility to choose between the Vox humana of the small Riepp (named Schalmej) and the Schalmey of the large Riepp (named Voxho) in order to restore the presumably correct historical state.
- Detuning unit that realizes natural detuning in the range of +- 5 cents and contributes to the most authentic sound, especially in Plenum registrations.
- Special manually designed Riepp font to experience the charm of the old lettering.

In addition to the download version, there is also a USB box version with a 16 GB USB3 stick and a printed booklet (to be published later)

At laaaast !! This is very good news. I liked a lot the stereo version, but found it too wet to play for quite an amount of pieces.
Now, it will be possible. Thank you !
