Free sample set available!

Dear all,
we have jist completed a small jewel, a sample set of a small german romantic village organ in Braunschweig, Germany. We decided to make this set freely available to the Hauptwerk community, so go ahead and download it! The set is not encrypted and works with any Hauptwerk version from 4.2.

Great gift! I like this kind of organ: they demand to explore the sounds very precisely.

Is it the church of Querum (Braunschweig)? Which church is it then exactly? Or is it Kneitlingen, St. Nikolaus, where there is a 14 stop organ by Gustav Carl Engelhardt (1872)? I've downloaded the organ, but haven't had time to play it yet. Will do it this evening.

Hello,
downloaded 2 times and hauptwerk dont want to install " file corrupted"
if i use test fonction with winrar: test ok ,no errors.

Hello Patrice,

Am I right in thinking you're trying to install it in Hauptwerk v4? I just downloaded the sample set, and tried installing it in v8, which worked properly, but v4 wouldn't extract it.

Reiner -- perhaps the version of WinRAR you used to create it is too new for the (old) version of the RAR extractor that v4 had.

that is exactly what has happened. I repacked it and uploaded the new version to the server, it does install in HW4.2 now (successfully tested it).

Thank you very much for this beautiful small organ, I have long wanted an instrument of this quality that can be played like a house organ, ideally would be 3 manuals and approx. 32 registers. Does anyone know of a recording like this?

Have a look at the Warrington Cavaillé-Coll organ (SP). It's very good (big) house (big) organ !
