New Trost organ live demos by Anton Doornhein

PostSun Feb 21, 2010 10:24 am

Hello all,

Anton Doornhein has recorded new live demos for the Waltershausen Trost organ:

J.S. Bach: Passacaglia c, BWV582; Partita "Sei gegüßet, Jesu gütig" BWV768

Complete registrations are provided and may serve as excellent detailed examples for this instrument

Many thanks prof. Maier; the registration will be very useful to many of us I'm sure; the Trost, with is wide "palette of sound" can be hard for novice and amateur to properly register.
Best regards

Thanks! I look forward to buying this Trost before long.

For more insight on Trost Stadtkirche registrations, James Kibbie has put his excellent recordings of the complete Bach online for free (as has been noted elsewhere in these forums). Several of the recordings are on the real Trost Stadtkirche, and he lists his registrations. On the above site, click "search", then in the "Venue" pulldown select the Stadtkirche and click "Search". The pieces recorded at the Stadtkirche will be returned. Click on any one of them to find the registration.

I hope to reproduce his recordings after I've purchased the Trost.
