I've used the HW4 master couplers to complete the intermanual and manual to pedal couplers. I've also used the scoped pistons, generals pistons and stop sequencer to provide some registration aids. The purists may not like this but it it seems to work well for me (after all the organ does have some modern pipework (30% or more)).

Hello Luis,

I replied to your email to us and am posting my reply here as well.

You can use the Hauptwerk master couplers to add coupler functionality to sets that do not have them. Look under View | Large floating control panels | Master Couplers. Then you can assign any MIDI switch to control them (right click on the master coupler buttons and choose Auto-detect). If you have extra keyboard keys then you may use those if you wish (just be sure to choose the option to toggle the state of the switch during auto-detection).
Regards,
Brett Milan

After reading this thread, and as I had just the Bach prelude BWV 541,1 roughly in the fingers, I tried to record it on 9 different possible Bach organs. It may help to see the different sounds in this type of piece. But, of course, results could be different in other kinds of Bach's pieces.

Started listening to Patrick's post on Contrebombarde last night. He did a great job with producing 9 good performances that have nearly the same tempo. It is an excellent comparison. I really have to listen closely to hear the differences in the stop selection. Each organ does have it's own sound. Great job Patrick, thanks for your efforts.
