Ah, that wonderful out-of-tune sound!

Have any other Virginia WurliTzer users tried to set the random de-tunning higher? It's a really great feature in HW2. The default is 100 but I tried 300 and got an organ the sounded like a chorus of celeste ranks. (300 is clearly too high).

But this feature is something I always thought would be great to have, where each pipe as loaded is tuned a bit within the limit you set. I've ended up with a setting of 150 for now. This seems to give the impression of an old organ that needs a bit of attention, but also adds immensely to the organ's character. I love it!

You can also try 'Temperament | Original organ tuning' with the WurliTzer (needs Hauptwerk v2.01 patch to have been applied).
