M-AUDIO DELTA 1010

PostSun Nov 02, 2014 4:03 pm

I have two DELTA 1010 LT's to give away. I learned the hard way that you can not use multiple DELTA 1010 LT's to get additional channels so I had to go which another device. There free but I really don't want to deal with the effort of packing and shipping. This could be an opportunity for someone who lives nearby Medfield, MA USA.

I thought they were one of the interfaces that you *can* use in multiples....?

Hummm. . .

I have used three M-Audio 1010LT cards in a PC for about 6 years now. They work quite well. One does have to make sure their clocks are connected so as to be in sync. with each other, otherwise one sometimes gets glitches in the sound.

If your computer will "accept" them slot wise, they definitely can work in multiples as long as (as Leo said,) they are synchronized. Granted they are not supported by their "maker", but I've heard of very few "break downs".

Gee, that's too bad. I'm almost 100% sure I only have one PCI slot to accept the 1010LT I've been using the past 4 or so years, otherwise I'd be interested and would gladly give you something for your time and effort to throw at least one in a box and send it to me. Maybe I should go take a look to be sure.

Honestly, Dick, I don't think you'd have too much trouble selling them providing the buyer has the correct slot(s) to accept them, they are good units for HW. The trouble is (if I recall) I'm not so sure too many computers are now coming with PCI slots and are instead equipped with PCIe slots.

Regrettably, mine has just given up the ghost. What shall I replace it with?
