Some one's idea of an April Fool joke and it's not even April. Looks suspiciously like the console on display at (the late Alex Jordan's) House on the Rock (Organ Room), Dodgeville, WI (actually Spring Green).

A great place to visit. It's possible to get brain dead in less than four hours looking at all the stuff on display. Really a must see in one's life time.

Ed, they wouldn't do that, would they?

Deciding that I should get out more (!) I took your advice and visited House on the Rock this afternoon. Quite a spectacle! While once was probably enough for me, it might also be kept in mind for an afternoon's entertainment for the (as-yet-nonexistent) grandkids. Fun to see a 32' diaphone rank, even if not playable!

Can't play extensive pedal work on one of those altho I played a Hammond spinet with a similar pedal setup in a small church when I was "growing up". That is before I knew anything about toe/heel.

It would be nice if the folks at House on the Rock would (permit) one of the consoles to be MIDIfyed to play live a Hauptwerk sample set (similar to what has been done in the museum in Marktoberdorf, Germany http://forum.hauptwerk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=14670).

This in place of the rather poor (background) recordings  being played in the (House's) Organ Room. I think a live organ concert there would be kinda cool. 8) Not sure presently who is the curator of the Organ Room. I know the late Alex Jordan's son (Alex Jordan Jr) has continued where his father left off. I was told, years ago, that there were some ranks in there that had been restores and able to be played, but having a good Hauptwerk installation in there would certainly be better
