Sheet music used by uploads

PostTue Sep 15, 2015 9:40 am

I enjoy very much listening to the performances on this site. I do find it very frustrating when I hear something I like, not to be able to find the sheet music. It would be helpful to a lot of us if performance uploaders would list the publisher and whether or not the music is still in print. A case in point is the wonderful performance of Rob playing the sinfonia from Cantata 29 arranged by Hebble. I have been all over the internet looking for this, and it does not seem to be available anywhere. If this arrangement is still in print I would like to know where. If not, I would like to know the publisher.

I congratulate all of you who upload some very interesting files to this site. I have gotten a lot of very good ideas of music to use where I play from your uploads

You might try here, a site by one of our own:

http://www.last.fm/music/Rob+Stefanusse ... ert+Hebble

J. S. Bach Sinfonia to Cantata No 29 arr. Robert Hebble

This was one of the many pieces he arranged for Virgil Fox.

Unfortunately, for me, it leads to an error message, "Windows 10 Not Supported" !!

Part of the issue is that some of the pieces are out of print. I know this because there are a couple of pieces that Rob played (both on CCH and Youtube) that resulted in the publisher opting to print another run of the music.

Not all pieces are that lucky though.
