Now the error message is again as follows (several times in the past):

"A Database Error Occurred
Unable to connect to your database server using the provided settings."

We have hired outside help to configure the server. We should have answers and solutions in the next day or two... if not before.

CB down now for more than 12 hours.
Guess this is due to the new server configuration??

Down for me, too. It was fine last night, but now all I get is a new tab, not even a "database error" message. Stupid computers!

Please let us know how things are going, guys!
We presume you're hard at it, but some update information would be highly appreciated.

Still working on it... Should be back online in a couple of hours. Sorry for the outages.

The outages themselves are from a problem with balancing the server settings. The length of the delay getting back online is partly a function of being short handed and partly trying to figure out what the problem is.

Works fine here on Firefox Mac (Yosemite) and has been running for a few hours now (around 11am)

Are you sure it wasn't one of the 2-5 minute outages?

We have a decent idea what might be causing the issue now. So, we'll be addressing that.

Actually, James, what's your IP address? There were a about 10 IP addresses that were overloading the system (500 plus hits) and the server managers banned the IP addresses. Yours might be one of those.

If it turns out to be yours, we can un-ban the IP address.
