there is a standard to determine the correct pressure

Avrei una domanda da porvi

La pedaliera organ la pressione del tasto è molto leggero

The AGO (American Guild of Organists) standard says this about the pedal 'touch':

Weight of touch: 2 1/2 to 3 pounds at front line of sharps.

That would be 1.1 to 1.3 kilograms

Does that help?

Hello profeluisegarcia

Is your organ -Sebastian- named to honor our common hero?

It is in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach

Thank you for your compliments :D

Paolo, what a magnificent job! It must give you great pleasure to sit down and play on a creation of such beauty, especially since it is the work of you own hands!

I wonder if I might ask . . . what sample set did you use? Did you put all the stops on tabs, and if not, how did you choose which stops to use, what was your rationale? They do not appear to be assigned to any particular manual, so...how does that work?

And the finger pistons on the bottom manual, what functions do they serve? And the stops along the sides of your manuals?

You have only two toe studs -- what functions do they each serve?

I would like to design my own console, too, and have to decide about tabs and pistons, so I am curious about your decisions.

Thanks for your website, which I have been touring!

Un Saluto Fermata

Grazie per i tuoi complimenti
Scusa per il mio Inglese vedrò di risponderti alle tue domande

1 I wonder if I might ask . . . what sample set did you use?

Velesovo Organ
Forcalquier Organ

Did you put all the stops on tabs, and if not, how did you choose which stops to use, what was your rationale?
I try to assign a name to the stop of the organ with the hauptwerk (if I can).

They do not appear to be assigned to any particular manual, so...how does that work?
By follow the instruction of the organ that you have install in hauptwerk.

You have only two toe studs -- what functions do they each serve?
Yes all the stop work because they are all connected with an adaptor card.
The buttons below the first keyboard serve to assign the combinations
I use these part of the organ TIRANTI for the range of the organ’s pedals.

You have only two toe studs -- what functions do they each serve?

Foot’s Pistons are four and I use them to connect the couple
• I / Ped.
• II / Ped.
• III/ Ped.

I would like to design my own console, too, and have to decide about tabs and pistons, so I am curious about your decisions.

I’m so happy that you want build your organ. If I can help you I can pass you the link of the supplier that I used to help me with the construction. My choice are made by checking other projects that I saw in the web. Please note that is my first organ’s building.

Paolo, grazie per le tue risposte! Parli molto bene l'inglese! Pero, una cosa non ho capito:
I use these part of the organ TIRANTI for the range of the organ’s pedals.

Mi puoi spiegare in italiano "range of the organ's pedals"?
(Credo che "tiranti" si traduce "drawbars" in inglese.)

Are you using Eao switches for the manual stops? Do you change the labels when you change sample sets? Or do you program the same ranks from each sample set to the same switches?

Also, if I might ask, why did you choose those particular sample sets?

I, too, am learning a lot and collecting ideas by looking at other people's consoles! I am only designing my manual setup, I will not build it myself.

no labels do not change, are buttons with written paper label

Si la traduzione corretta drawbars,
Esempio Velosovo Pedal
Principal 8'
Principal 8
Untersatz 32'
Octav 4'
Octav 4'
Subbass 16'
Collego i set di campioni ai drawbars

Also, if I might ask, why did you choose those particular sample sets?

Velesovo Organ
Forcalquier Organ
It sounds very good, but you can mount any organ that buy

Have you found the PCOrgan link, yet? http://www.pcorgan.com/FotosEN.html
Some are home made and others have been professionally built.

And this Forum has a relevant section, as well: viewforum.php?f=21
