I hope monsters don't scare you - this IS one!

Coming right along with my system. Getting ready to start construction of console. I know this is pablum for some of you guys with the huge Galanti / Rodgers 4-6 manual beauties, but some of us got to start out small. For the people just starting out - here is a pic the my system with the 1000W I just hooked up today.... it IS a monster; really shakes the house if I want and is a BEAUTY when it comes to those lower frequencies that I've never heard felt until today!! This is SO much fun to play - LOVE it with the Paramount 341 and the showtunes / Boogie I like to play.... I could take a week off and play this from sun-up to sun-set.... it's like the difference between night-and-day!!

Enough rattling (no pun intended).. it's a B52 18" sub from Sweetwater Sound. .... I think you can identify it in the picture below.... it's taller than the bench!...

Everyone, everyone needs at least ONE of these, for sure.

But remember, with great power comes great responsibility.

If you call this a monster, look at this one:

BachsFugue - haha!! That's right... great POWER brings great responsibility... but I use this on the pedals usually.... only occasionally do I bring the great manual into focus with this beast. I still think it's swell..

TF11972 - already beat you to it.... have two of these in my 14X12 master bedroom. I use them to blow the covers on top of me.... :D . I was searching for a good sub under $1,000.00; I think this is it. On a 2nd note, this thing is absolutely SILENT until called upon. I guess my 40 year old Univox amp had tubes in it?....

Organtechnology - I now need to put together a Blue II synth (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yaYqxDzZjJY) for my son using a Studiologic 1100 keyboard, Cubase 8 and other related stuff. He's limited on space - doesn't have the room for 18" subwoofers.... the link you sent - for smaller speaker cabinets that do the same job as larger ones?... What do you use for YOUR organs to save on space? Little Ray probably needs a 2.1 system - stereo and a sub....

To really save space Headphones and Butt Kickers. Otherwise 2 x JBL3 studio monitors and a servo subwoofer.
