SWELL SHOE DEFINED INITIAL POSITION

PostMon Jun 06, 2016 3:21 pm

From what I can find, the default swell shoe visual and code implementation is swell box(es) full open. With full autonomous / automatic system startup the link between console shoe position (generally left closed) and internal Hauptwerk is not established until minor motion of the shoe causes a MIDI message that aligns console and Hauptwerk. Is there a CODM item setting or organ specific setting that will cause Hauptwerk to load a particular organ with the identified swell boxes closed instead of open?

Thanks, Ed. Yes -- you can set the default positions via user preferences:

mdyde wrote:In Hauptwerk v4 you can set virtual expression pedals to default to any position you like as follows:

- Right-click on the virtual expression pedal and select 'Adjust MIDI/trigger settings manually ...'.

- Change the 'Default position (0-127)' setting to whatever value you prefer, e.g. 0=fully closed, 127=fully open.
Best regards, Martin.
