Using former combinations in encrypted sampleset

PostTue Jan 23, 2018 2:58 pm

If this is the wrong sub forum, please move it.
During the development of my sample set I recorded several pieces and saved them as combinations. I backed them up on an external data storage. When I copied them back to the folder after the encryption of the set, they were no longer usable.
My question: Is it possible to reuse the uncompressed XML file or do I have to export my combinations as html and re-enter them manually? Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

[Topic moved here.]

Encrypting a sample set won't in itself invalidate any combination files. You must also have done something else that caused it. For example, changing the organ's OrganID would invalidate them, or changing the IDs of the virtual switches or combinations in the ODFs, or using the Design Tools screen's option to reset all combinations.
