Stereo stop mix for head set within Hauptwerk

PostWed Mar 28, 2018 7:42 pm

Is there way (within Hauptwerk) to create a stereo mix down for a head set feed? That is using any stop drawn and thru the expression pedals for an output mix. I know it can be done externally, but want to keep this head set feed as "pure" as possible.

Edit: Found the solution in the audio interface (MOTU 24 Ao) which permits creating a needed mixdown Problem solved.

Another solution is to add every HW audio output to an aux mixdown in General Settings / Audio Outputs and direct that to the headphone channels. Up to 4 aux mixdowns are available. For interfaces without a mixer.

I use HW to create the mix I feed to the headphone channel. It works really well. You can (if you wish) exclude some of the outputs (for example the rear channels) in the headphone feed.

Regarding the setup, there are 14 separate main channels and probably there could be more.
