St Anne’s, Moseley

PostWed Apr 04, 2018 8:13 am

Hi all,

In an attempt to clear some spac on a fairly limited hard drive, I deleted some the ranks of St Anne’s, Moseley. Although I have several large organs playing, I would like to reinstall St Anne’s. I have found a mono version as a free download, but I’m wondering if anyone can suggest how to access the complete sample set.

Thanks,
Daniel

A “mono version as a free download” looks suspicious.
Much better to reinstall Hauptwerk (from downloadhauptwerk.com), which will include the complete St Anne’s organ. Use the “update installer” rather than the full version. This should preserve all your existing settings.

No correct. The update installer only corrects some wrong pipes in St. Anne.

So you have to use the full installer.
First make a backup of your settings using File | Backup your Hauptwerk settings and personal data ... (this is only for security reasons).
Install HW again.
All organs and settings are unchanged so you can direct load your favourite organ and play.

To complete the info: St. Anne contains graphics and audio files for some other organs and may not (partly) removed using the Windows explorer

You can buy a 1TB external hard drive from Officeworks for $89 and shunt samples you do not use often onto that. I hope you are using one as a backup anyway as computer hard drives WILL fail.
