...Instead of MacBook

Hello all¡
For years in this Forum and following Martin´s advice I have used and strongly recommended dedicated MacBooks (+8 or 16 RAM) for HW installations because the excellent sound card, two USB ports, no viruses, no external devices, etc, and everybody happy (just complaints from some friend´s pockets¡).

Now these Macs have been discontinued and the new ones are too expensive, therefore I`m looking for a model PC that could do a similar performance at more comfortable price. Thanks for any suggestion.

You could try the new mac mini's; they were recently refreshed and are quite nice if you want to run mac os. You need to purchase as monitor for them, but I'm assuming most people purchase a touch screen anyway, even when using a laptop.
