Pedalboard goes crazy!!!

PostSun Nov 10, 2019 4:18 pm

My Ahlborn Hymnus III's pedal board is acting erratically. I play one key and another one also sounds together and sometimes the note sounds continuously. other times I play a key and there is no sound. I have discovered that this phenomena seems to occur when the surroundings are slightly damp (after floor mopping or rainy weather) The pressure switches are directly connected to the original printed circuit board.
Any ideas of what I can do to prevent humidity influencing my playing?

Before you start soldering...

I once played an Ahlborn (do not know if it was a Hymnus III) and suddenly a note on the pedal was stuck. The organ was used occasionally in a huge monument that at the time was rather... hudim. The reason for the malfunction was that the contacts in the plug between the organ and the pedal were oxidised. Maybe you want to have a look at that connection first if everything is nice and shiny.
