Hasp Dongle after Upgrade

PostMon Dec 16, 2019 2:15 pm

Hi all (Martin ?)

I've done a fresh install of Catalina on my Mac mini, and V is now up and running.
I'm ready to get my MDA & Paramount licenses migrated, but the 'File / Initiate migration...' option is missing.
Further investigation reveals that my Hasp dongle isn't lighting up when attached to the mini, which I presume explains why I'm missing the menu option. The dongle lights up OK when attached to my MacBook Pro.
Note also that all other USB peripherals on the mini (keyboard, touchscreen, external drive, audio interface, midi interface) seem to work fine.
Not technically a HW problem of course.... but any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks in anticipation,

Best Regards,

Glenn.

Hi Martin,

I'm afraid I'm still in trouble - the license migration has now been carried out successfully (and I can see my licenses in the iLok manager, currently installed in the cloud). I've downloaded the revised MDA St Eucaire, but when I attempt to install it, I get a '1223' error, suggesting that a license hasn't been installed.

Probably due to (yet more) rank stupidity on my part, but I can't for the life of me figure out what it might be.

I've saved an error log, if that's of any help, but don't know where to send it....

Thanks again,

Glenn.

Hello Glenn,

Please make sure:

- That you've installed the licensing packages file: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=17833&start=15#p134736

- That if you double-click on the entries for the licences in iLok License Manager they show with status='Active'. (If not, please right-click on them to activate them.)

Thanks.
Best regards, Martin.
