Hi- I got a set of three Reisner expression pedals. The travel on the pedals seems really short. Are these typically shorter than other brands? Or have i forgotten what 'regular' pedals are like?
Typically, with the swell box (shades) closed, the pedal (shoe) would be at approximately 50 degrees to the horizontal. With swell box (shades) open, the pedal (shoe) would be at approximately 25 degrees to the horizontal. Hopefully this does answer the question.

And the crescendo is the same right - all pedals are the same excluding the 3/4 height of the crescendo?

Correct. All three pedals have the same travel etc. but the crescendo pedal (on the right) is positioned slightly higher (doesn't have to be as much as 3/4 inch) to make it easier to find and to reduce the chance of accidental operation.
Yes thanks that helps. It looks like the pedal travels 2". That's in line with what I see. Surprisingly difficult to find a side view pic or video of an expression pedal.
The drawing shows the height of the manuals over the pedalboard as 29.5″ from the pedalboard playing surface to the playing surace of the middle keyboard. This is incorrect, you would never be able to get your knees under the keyboards! The dimension is 29.5″ from the pedalboard playing surface to the playing surface of the lower keyboard.
There is clearly a drawing error in that particular issue of the AGO spec. I have a revised version of the same diagram showing the distance between the pedal board and the bottom manual to be 29.5" The recommended distance in the British spec. is 29.5" - 30.5" and I personally would not recommend anything less than 30.5"
