iPad Pro Compatibility

Hi all,
I wondered if anybody could help me with a query (and apologies for the ignorance!):
I currently run Hauptwerk through my MacBook Pro but it is old and slow. I have just bought an iPad Pro 2020 for work and wondered if I can run Hauptwerk through it instead? It only has 6GB RAM but that is sufficient for the La Madeleine set that I use.

Good morning Simon,

Hauptwerk is not compatible (see supported platform - https://www.hauptwerk.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/HauptwerkPrerequisites.pdf) and can't be run on an iPAD. Maybe one day, since future MAC (2021-22) will use ARM processor like the IPAD. But for now we don't know if Hauptwerk will be available on the new MAC platform or when it will be (just to early to answer those questions).

Will Hauptwerk be compatible with the most recent MacBook Pro, or does this have the Arm processor that was mentioned in the link to the full explanation?

All Macs are still Intel based machines. HW is compatible with the MB Pro.

Hi,

As Graham said the actual line of Apple computers is using Intel processor and is fully compatible with Hauptwerk.

There are a number of organs available for iPhone and iPad.
You could hook up pedals and keyboards.
I have Jeux d’orgue Mini and it sounds quite good.
