Some of us are hoping it's being held up by work on extending the compass on the Cappel Arp Schnitger organ.

Hello Peter,

It's coming very soon! We are approaching the final stages of the set. I certainly realize that everyone would like to know an exact release date, however I cannot currently give an estimate. As soon as it is ready I'll make the big announcement. I hope to have some preliminary demos very soon as well. FYI, it will be 41 stops for volume II. The stop list will be posted soon for your reading pleasure.

Hello Peter,

It is being offered in 3 volumes, not 2. Volume 3 will contain the entire instrument.

yes i knew that there will be 3 volumes but you wrote volume 2 has 41 stops
so when volume 1 have already 24 stops + 41 of volume 2 = total 65 stops on 2 volumes so its 10 more than the orginal organ
i know the orginal instrument has 55 stops

Hello Peter,

Sorry for the confusion. I just meant 41 stops total including those already from Volume 1. Volume 2 has an additional 17 stops added to the original 24 stops making for a total of 41 stops all together. I hope that makes sense.

Hello Anton,

Yes the complete Hoofdwerk, complete Rugwerk, complete Borstwerk and complete Bovenwerk II. The pedal remains as it is in volume 1 with the addition of the Prestant 16 from the HW.

It will essentially be a 4 manual organ minus the Bovenwerk 1. The Borstwerk can either be played as a fourth manual just as the real organ, or just use the added Borstwerk to Hoofdwerk coupler to access it from a 3 manual console.

I've made a .pdf of the stop list for volume 2 which you can have a look at for the specification:

Hinsz Volume 2 Stop List

Note that the text which is greyed out are the stops which are *not* included.

This looks very fine!
The release date: wil it be roughly within 1 month, two or three??

Thanks!

This is not what I expected from the original organ, because the organ itself had a coupler Bovenwerk-Borstwerk, so the Borstwerk can be played from manual 3 (the Bovenwerk).

I hope that this coupler will be present too in Volume 2?

Indeed, it is good to add a coupler not present at the real organ, but the sampleset should at least contain the couplers existing in reality, which includes a coupler that allows to play the borstwerk from the manual of the bovenwerk. By the way: we also sometimes use the 'Afsluiter' for Bovenwerk I to suddenly play only the pipework of Bovenwerk II on the third manual. I hope this functionality will also be part of the sampleset (in the third volume).

...and if so, hopefully the bug whereby disengaging the afsluiter clips the reverb if already playing notes will be fixed. I think it also has strange behavior if engaging it with notes sustained.
